ToPDF

Where are my PDFs saved? (ToPDF keeps nothing — here’s where files go)

· Quick answers

Two answers, both short: your PDFs go where your browser puts downloads (or wherever you Share them) — and ToPDF itself keeps nothing, ever.

Per device, in one line each

  • iPhone/iPad: Files app → Downloads (or Share → choose exactly where). Details.
  • Android: Downloads folder; the download notification opens it directly.
  • Computer: the browser's Downloads folder, configurable to ask-per-save.

What ToPDF holds after you leave

No scan history, no cloud copies, no thumbnails in a recents list. Close the tab mid-scan and the work-in-progress evaporates by design (the page even warns before an accidental close when pages are open). Privacy tools shouldn't have memories; storage decisions belong to you, deliberately, per file.

Frequently asked questions

I can’t find a download from yesterday. Can ToPDF recover it?

No copy exists on our side to recover. Search your device for its name (or “.pdf” sorted by date) — browsers’ download history also lists the exact path.

Can I choose the folder at download time?

On desktop, enable “ask where to save” in the browser. On phones, the Share button is the choose-location path (Save to Files/Drive lets you pick).
