Does ToPDF add a watermark? No — your PDF contains only your document
· Quick answers
No. ToPDF never stamps, brands or decorates your output. The PDF contains your scanned pages — full stop.
Nothing visible, nothing sneaky
- No corner stamps on any page, first or last.
- No appended promo page.
- No advertising metadata tucked into file properties.
Verify in one minute: scan a page, open the PDF, look at every corner and the file's properties. That test, run on many “free” scanners, is exactly how watermarks reveal themselves at export time.
Why scanners watermark at all
Watermarks are upsell levers for cloud services with per-scan costs. ToPDF computes on your device, so there's no cost to recover and no premium tier to push you toward — the economic reason for watermarks simply doesn't exist here. (Full context.)
